Furnaces with Rotating Floor /Carousel Furnaces/


Furnaces of this type are designed for heating detail exposed to tempering, normalization or relaxation with a working temperature of 700 ° C to 1250 ° C.


The casing of the furnace is made of sheet and structural steel.
The electrical resistance furnaces with a rotating floor (carousel) have a circular workspace, and are produced with an outer diameter of 1,5m to 2m. Depending on the technical assignment of the client outer diameter of the furnace can be performed with larger size.
Carousel furnace with rotating floor form of a closed tunnel in which wheels or rollers rotates thermally insulated floor. The drive of the floor is accomplished by attached to the furnace body gear, driven rollers or the central axis. To avoid entry of air into the clearance between the rotating floor and the furnace wall is provided sand, aqueous or oil lock.
Loading with details for thermal treatment and unloading them takes place through side opening with a door.
The thermal insulation is made of chemically neutral and resistant to various gas environments light-weight refractory bricks, vacuum formed refractory elements, mats and rigs.

Heating elements made of new high quality resistive alloys, are arranged on the side walls and the vault of the furnace, in accordance with the technical assignment of the client.
The temperature is controlled by a microprocessor programmable PID regulators perceiving signal directly from standard thermocouples located in the working space of the furnace.
Electrical switchboards are designed for power and control of the furnace with operating voltage according to the design and the control of the thermal processes. The electrical switchboards provide appropriate control and protection of the circuits and automation, providing the required security.
The electrical resistance furnaces and respectively the switchboards for powering and management work with three-phase mains voltage (380 V) – to power the load chain and 250 V for control circuits (command and protective circuits related to the safety).
Available furnaces of this type are made in accordance with the technical assignment of the client and in accordance with the requirements of the technology for heat treatment of the products.
