Protective Gas Chamber Furnaces

Application

The protective gas chamber furnaces are used for universal purposes. They are designed for heat treatment of carbon steels, alloy steels, alloys of copper, aluminum and nickel-based.

Construction

The furnace casing is welded type and is made of sheet and shaped steel sheets.
The furnace door opens automatically in “up – down” direction through a motor-reducer.
The thermal insulation is made of modern light-weight refractory bricks, plates and mats.
Electrical heaters are made from heating wire, characterized by high mechanical strength in hot state and arranged appropriately in the working space of the furnace.
The furnace is equipped with a system for automatic feeding of protective gas in the furnace chamber. The purpose of the protective gas is to prevent forming an oxide layer on the surface of the details, during heating. The necessary gas fittings (stop valves, solenoid valves, needle valve, a rotameter, etc.) are placed in a special gas cabinet mounted on the furnace. Gas supply to the oven chamber is made through a special pipe connection.
Control of the temperature is carried out by a microprocessor programmable PID – temperature regulator, sensing the signal directly from a standard thermocouple.
Electrical switchboards are designed for power and control of the furnace with operating voltage according to the design and the control of the thermal processes. The electrical switchboards provide appropriate control and protection of the circuits and automation, providing the required security.
The electrical resistance furnaces and respectively the switchboards for powering and management work with three-phase mains voltage (380 V) – to power the load chain and 250 V for control circuits (command and protective circuits related to the safety).
Available furnaces of this type are made in accordance with the technical assignment of the client and in accordance with the requirements of the technology for heat treatment of the products.
